I just took my Dad’s land yacht out to run a few errands for him.
I only wish I had command enough of the English language to express my disdain for this vehicle.
Maybe someone can help me out here. Why would a 79 year old man and a 60 year old woman need a one ton van with a V8? Anyone? Anyone?
They are neither in a band and need it for their speakers and drum kit nor do they load all their buddies in it and follow Phish around the country selling t-shirts out of the back.
I’m a pretty good driver. I know about using the gas to re-weight a vehicle coming out of a turn, how to use the gas and transmission as a brake, the whole heel to braking thing.
As I was driving this vehicle in the back of my mind I was thinking
“I need to be pulled over and pistol whipped for being a menace to other drivers!”
Something really needs to be done. Tomorrow, mini vans and the soccer mom who drive them!!!
