How I did it: I've always wanted to go horseback riding. So when my boyfriend and I were in Cabo, Mexio we booked a sunset horseback ride. It was a great experience. The Swan Monastery is close to us in the mountains, and they’re supposed to offer a nice trip. Haven’t been horseback riding for years and would love to take the kids. Not sure we can afford it this year, though, since we’ve taken some pretty great and expensive vacations this summer.

at the end of it all, i told her about 43things and my goal to go horseback riding this winter. she says
“I am a horseback riding teacher.”
she said to call her this winter. winter riding is fun she said.

Well I went horseback riding with a girl I met through another friend. She told me to come down any time I wanted to ride. I went to her house, and we went out for 3 hours! It was great. The weather was perfect, we did some trail blazing, and saw some beautiful scenery on her property. Will definitely be going as much as I can. I want to learn to learn how to become proficient at riding…:)
It’s been such a long time since I’ve gone horseback riding and I absolutely loved it.
as something i really want to do again. i havent been on horseback in 15 years. i keep having this image in my mind of me riding on a good horse under a blue sky in wintertime, all bundled up and happier than anything! it would feel so good and make me so happy to do this.
I live in the self proclaimed “Horse Capital of the World” Lexington is even hosting the World Championships for the horse world and I have never ridden a horse. Thats messed up.
