What has happened to me?
Oh well…I hope you had a magnificent day. I also hope you were able to milk it and continue the celebrating for at least the whole week :)
Todd Schoonover Should really be sleeping now.
It’s already tomorrow in Japan, but for me it’s still Amy’s birthday. I always get a smile when I’m reading Amy’s entries. It’s because she talks about Todd and I imagine my namesake doing such cool things for her like bringing home Taco Bell so they can eat it while watching Ghost Hunters together. That’s what I would do if I were that Todd. I was so glad that it cheered her up to be remembered by the Chicago 43ers with a postcard. I’d send her another one but I don’t think the post awful would forward it from her old address to Japan. Anyway, here are my wishes for this special 43er for the coming year:
May she and her children find learning opportunities every day, whether it be Japanese language or the constellations or philosophy. May her creative muses inspire her daily, especially when it comes to her writing. And may she and Todd find a Ghost Hunting group that they can participate in while in Japan.
Sessygail is waiting for them to break ground on her new home!
It may be tomorrow there by now but my birthday wish for you doesn’t know the bounds of a 24-hour period. I wish for you a year of wonder and discovery in your new home!
Instead of the traditional american birthday cake I thought I’d send you a traditional american pie! With cilantro of course!
Have a happy happy birthday!

I hope it’s been a fun-filled birthday day for you. May this first year in Japan bring you countless unexpected joys!
