I have started using SplashMoney because it travels handily in my Palm PDA. I just wish it hooked up to some Linux accounting program.
Today Gnucash in Debian unstable started fine, so maybe I’ll do something about this goal.
I apt-get:ted GnuCash for Debian unstable and it doesn’t even start. I’m too tired to go look for the reason right now… maybe some other day.
I tried it out a few weeks ago. I hadn’t known how double-entry bookkeeping works, but GnuCash has good documentation, so now I understand it. It makes a lot of sense. Unfortunately, since then, I haven’t updated my GnuCash file. I’m worried that it will be too time-consuming to update on a regular basis.
