I was able to avoid Charlie Horses, for the most part, for the remainder of my pregnancy. Had to drink water like crazy though. Was consuming probably at least 90 ounces just during the night. Most people I know don’t consume water after going to bed.

I drink water like crazy. For the most part, I’ve avoided any more Charlie Horses. However, when we were in Denver, a few weeks back, I had Charlie Horses in my TOES the night we arrived. It’s difficult to stay well hydrated when traveling by plane.
Being on both prenatal vitamins and iron supplements can make staying hydrated more of a challenge, but I’m attempting to stay on top of it!

I’ve been making sure to drink sufficient amounts of water. Who would of thought I’m not consuming enough water. Certainly people around me know I drink LOADS of water. Anyways, I’ve had Charlie Horses twice this pregnancy, both in the second trimester. I’ve been careful to drink lots and lots and lots of water. Not that I don’t have other reminders to tell me I need to consume more water, like a dry mouth or a headache. Anyways, I’m also making sure I consume sufficient amounts of potassium. Usually bananas do the job. I’m towards the beginning of my third trimester. We’ll see if I’ve had fewer Charlie Horses than the previous pregnancy. . .
