create a religion

This religion is a worship to a certain star. It is similar to the Jewish Star, but is far more powerful. This star is the star that Rikudo has in his eyes, allowing him to create life and the moon. The Sun however, was created by his younger brother, Zunia. Zunia soon was banished to Earth because he sinned in created the 9 most dangerous demons of all. There are a set of rules Rikudo gave to Buddha and the other gods.

Rules:

1. Be obediant to your parents.
2. Do not lie.
3. Do not steal.
4. Do not murder.
5. Do not worship demonic beings.
6. Do not live in vain.

All who follow these orders will receive a gift from Rikudo, eternal life in the realms. There are realms where saints live, realms where normal people live, and realms where gods live.

Heavenly Realms:

Bliss-Realm: Home of Rikudo and the other gods
Demi-Realm: Home of the demi-gods
Peace-Realm: Home of the saints and peacemakers
Sky-Realm: Home of the normal human-beings

Gods:

Rikudo: The original god, holding the Hoshigan;s power. He holds true divine power and is the leader of the gods.

Samsara: the god of the wheel of life. He works on reincarnation processes for human beings who refuse to live in the realms.

Amaterasu: the goddess of the sun, she was formerly the wife of Zunia, but then ruled after he was banished. She controls the sun, keeping Earth healthy.

Tsukuyomi: the god of the moon, also a disciple of Rikudo.

I am going to try to clean up and reorganize my 43 things list, and this one has hit the chopping block. I just don’t have the time or energy to think of much of anything besides, “Are the kids where they need to be?” and “Am I where I need to be?”

If I am going to bother imagining it anyway, I might as well flesh it all out, and right now, this is going on the backburner due to lack of time. It might be back in October as part of Nanowrimo planning, though.

With “create a language” and “set up a micronation” already on my list, I had to add this to complete my trifecta of ultranerdiness.
