catsimple needs some motivation to sort out her life
Ok, so this one is in the far future for me. But it’s something I have always dreamed of ever since I was little. When I was a little girl I saw the film ‘The Secret Garden’ and loved it. My father has also always loved to garden and I often help at his allotment.
Me and my partner have just got engaged and my dream wedding would be outside in a beautiful garden. So I have decided that I want to plant my own for the wedding. Ofcourse this will be ages away as we both need to find the house first. I am still sooo excited though. Haha :D

Isn’t that great? I also got my peppers transplanted into larger containers today. Hope it gets nice out soon or my kitchen might start being confused with a rain forest or something!

we needed so. The burn ban has been lifted temporarily. It’ll be good to get everything burned while we can. It’s on piles of brush that we’ve thinned out on the land.

we really needed it too. The fires here have burned all winter. I’m excited to see everything explode into green.

He built me a shelf and a table (that collaspes) in my tiny kitchen by the window, that looks out over my meadow, so that I could have a place to put all the seedlings I started till all the danger of frosts are past. Can I testify again how wonderful it is to live with a Godly man who loves his family as much as my Michael?

I got the garlic chives, rosemary, Spearment mint, Thyme and the “True” lavender started today. I’m so excited! I also got my leafy lettace transplanted into the second bed. Man, this is so fun. I’ve been asking myself what it is that thrills me so about this garden. It came to me today. The Bible says that we were created in God’s image. It only makes sense to me that when we “create”, be it art, books, music or the planting of beautiful gardens, we are indeed bringing out the best in ourselves when we create beauty, in whatever form it takes. It’s reinforced how important it is to me to bring up creative children and definately a good arguement for encouraging the arts in our public schools. It’s bigger then just the fundimentals. It’s about helping our children learn to bring out the best in themselves.

Yes, with so many people working on the garden it’s gotten a little confusing. Need to label all the areas that have been taken. Life is so cool!
