ninagal is happy at 135.5 lbs!
I ran tonite and did not stop at all. I think it was that extra 8 to 10 pounds that I lost helped me with my run. Also, recently I stop taking my allergy pills because I wasn’t having an asthma attack for a while.
How I did it: The Couch to 5k run plan. Stopped and started 3 springs in a row. This year, I took it easy. I didn't try to keep an exact 10min mile. I listened to my shins. I took it slow and easy, and I didn't hurt myself. Made it so much easier, and so much more fun this year. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Die Sache ist ganz einfach. Am Besten fängt man langsam an mit einer lockeren Runde. Ich habe das innerhalb einer Woche meine Laufzeit immer um 15 Minuten verlängert. Dann geht es eigentlich ganz locker! Read how I did it…

Ok, finally I am putting this as my must do thing. I used to run/walk for two marathons and both race I finished around 6 hours. I did these 5 years ago and after that everythings went downhill for me. Now I am trying to get myself back in shape through running and biking. Lately, I am so into biking than running. Anyway, I want to try to run at least 3 miles without stopping and running out of breath. I am hoping that after losing 8 to 10 pounds my running might be easier. I will find out in 1 or 2 days?
lazylibra is sooo over it
i ran/walk/jogged a 4 mile lake this weekend. i will try to run this whole lake nonstop before winter. if i go every weekend i think chances are good i will get it done. of course will have to try and avoid fast food and all the thing that can slow me down.
For a few weeks now I’ve been working on repeating this goal, hoping to continue to this one that I gave up on nearly a year and a half ago.
However…
Last weekend I took my daughter to the park and was playing around with her on the playground equipment. I missed a step and smacked into a rail- with my ribs. After a couple of days they started to feel better, but a couple more days later and they started getting worse again. I just can’t do the pounding of running with my ribs hurting the way they are :(
I love to run. it is absolutely the only thing that makes me feel good about my self. i dont like to race much, just run.
i have always been really fast, my friends told me so when i was running but i was never really able to go for a long amount of time. and everytime i run it is enjoyable but lately i joined my schools track team and i am more concentrated on winning than improving that i think it is actually slowing me down. but no no matter what i will run the 3 miles without stopping. i will slowly bring up my strength and I WILL DO IT!!!!!
isthisforreal is already planning for the world cup
I was doing very good before my christmas break, I was running around 2 miles without stopping, and 3 with a couple of walking laps; sadly I became extremely lazy over my break and didn’t even lift a finger.. so I have to almost start over again. I’ve stopped drinking cokes so this is helping alot. I WILL get this goal done.
I go running pretty much every day with my roommate and we normally do just over 2 miles. I’ve never run more than 2 1/3… ever. I felt really great after 2. Katherine stopped shortly after that, but I decided to keep going. After 2 1/2 I decided I’d go for 3 today. I went for it, and I did it! I feel great too. I can’t believe I already did it. I thought it was going to take me longer to get to that point. I guess that means I’m working towards 4 now.
It can be difficult, but never give up. I’m running around 4 miles and over now, so I’ve pretty much conquered this goal. To everyone else, keep running! It’s good for ya!
well, im very out of shape and im trying to get into the best shape of my life. Yesterday i jogged for a total of 30 minutes. im not sure if i ran the distance of 3 miles or not but i think i might have. and i didnt stop with the exception of tieing my shoe. My legs are sore and im not going to run 2day but i plan on running tomorrow.
