create a relaxing bedroom/living space

I live on the 3rd floor of my parents house. I basically have my own living space. I don’t have a kitchen or washroom up here. But I do have my own living/sleeping space. I have my computer, tv and bed here. It is a fairly large living space, but I want to create a beautiful, relaxing space where I can spend a lot of time here and feel….like I have spent time on a mini vacation! You know when you go to a luxury hotel and everything is so uncluttered, relaxing peaceful? I want to create that for my living space! There is tons to do, but I will have to start by clearing it of clutter. I want a minimalist look.
