kanzeon path 4 months ago

I would like to walk the kanzeon path, whoch is 3200 km. It starts in the north of Holland (at a zen monastery) and it leads via several buddhist places to the north of spain (also a zendo).

My dad suggested this one giving the Santiago de Compostella as an option or even the Inca trail to Macchu Pichu.

I would love to go on a pilgrimage to the hill of crosses as it seems such a magical place

“Around the World in 80 Days”
The Camino De Santiago from France to Spain
The Trans-Siberian railway
The Old Silk Road

pilgrimage to Fatima, Lourdes, & Spain 20 months ago

Absolutely amazing! The pilgrimage was everything I expected it to be & so much more! It changed my life, & now my goal is to save enough to bring my entire family on one; to be able to experience that with all of them would be a blessing!

The first one I’d like to make are the four holy sites of the Buddha, his birthplace in Lumbini, Nepal; where he was enlightened in Bodhgaya, India; Sarnath, India where he gave the first teaching of the 4 noble truths, and the place of his death in Kusinara, India.

The Road to Santiago 3 years ago

Ever since I read the book The Pilgrimage by Paulo Coelho, I’ve wanted to go walk the road to Santiago. This might not happen, but I’d even just like to do something like going on a long hiking trip somewhere here in the US. Anything that would get me away from civilization for a while would be great.

i’m not religious, but i love to walk. i’d really like to walk The Camino Santiago de Compostella in northern spain. some people i’ve talked to have said that it’s not that cool, that a lot of the people who do it are weird, but screw it i think it sounds interesting. it’s supposed to take months, so i don’t know when i could do it, but someday.

Amazing experience 4 years ago

I’ve been 8 times on pilgrimage and every time it is amazing experience for me. No matter how weak and far from the faith you feel before going on the pilgrimage – during the time when you are going to holy place you are really changing, you explore new horizons, you get in contact with God again. It’s time of awakening that everybody should experience!
