a science person, but I’m learning to appreciate the discipline in new ways. I opted out of physics last year in order to meet an IB curriculum requirement, but now I’m wishing I hadn’t. A certain someone has shaken up my life, and he often explains his philosophy in physics-speak. He’s usually good about explaining things that are over my head, but I hate when things are over my head. I’m good at learning on my own; I taught myself German and I can teach myself about physics.

Probably my favorite subject to learn about. <3333. My high school physics teacher was absolutely amazing, and I'm planning on minoring in physics in college.

I got a chance to see Stephen Hawking last night. As he was under the weather, we got his presentation by live web feed. I couldn’t follow it… and the people around me were right there with him. Afterwards, the people I went with began to discuss elements of the presentation that I hadn’t even heard. I have a still unwrapped copy of his book “A Briefer History of Time” on CD in my car. I want to listen to it as a start.
I was so bad at Math in HIgh School that I never got even the basic physics class. I was able to get up to speed in college but still didn’t make it to Physics.
I want to understand though.
