[TG says this is the secret of your success]
Bill is living large in Washington DC oh, hi. Did you miss me?
for kicking the habit.
And for turning the ‘mountain lion’ into a house cat.
Taz Smile and no one knows what you're up to ;)
but I have a really good excuse. I was out raising a glass to your wonderful achievement. Way to go Tiger! :D
I’m late to the party, but I’m the first to cheer you on day 101 of your new life as a non-smoker! Hooray! That’s a great milestone, and we’re all proud of you…
CropTillDawn~ Come to the Dark side. We have cookies!
One of my fav things to Cheer was the Quit Smoking goals. I would use up any of my left over cheers at the end of the day, on people I did not know, because I really did not “know” many people on here yet.
Congratulations Tiger. I VERY VERY proud of you and I wish you continued success being smoke free and with all the other good stuff going on in your life!
OXOX,
Dawn
Ps Enjoy the fresh air :D
DoubleN is working on selling the house
Truly impressive, and it’s especially good that you quit since living at that altitude, you need all the oxygen you can get! Besides, you would want Smokey the Bear getting pissed at you …
Tiger is going to get through December if it kills her
I have only four cheers on this goal! Whassamatta witchoo? Cheer me up, People! I haven’t had a cigarette in 100 DAYS! Let go of them cheers!
Great job, Sweetie! What you’ve done is pretty darn incredible, & i’m proud of you!
Hot Toddie Schoonover has 24 days to run 120 miles
100 more days of being smoke free is nothing to growl about. We need to roar at the top of our lungs, since we can actually do that now without hacking and coughing.
During these first 100 days, Tiger your heart rate and blood pressure have dropped. The carbon monoxide level in your blood has dropped to normal. Your circulation has improved and your lung function has increased. Coughing and shortness of breath have decreased. Cilia have begun to regain their normal function in the lungs, increasing the ability to handle mucus, clean the lungs and reduce the risk of infection.
If you keep this up for one year, your excess risk of coronary heart disease drops to half that of a smoker’s. For five years, your stroke risk will be reduced to that of a nonsmoker. For ten years, your risk for lung cancer is about half that of a continuing smoker, and your risks for mouth, throat, esophagus, bladder, cervix and pancreas cancer decrease. For fifteen years, the risk of coronary heart disease is that of a non-smoker.
Besides all that, your breath smells better. Your teeth aren’t as stained. Now that you’ve done laundry and showered, your bad smelling clothes and hair are gone. Your fingers and fingernails aren’t tinged with yellow stains. Food is tasting better to you, and your sense of smell has returned to normal. And everyday activities are no longer leaving you out of breath.
Congratulations! Now no more relapses or you’ll have to start back over at day one again.
