Watch all seasons of DVDs of Frasier

I am on 5th season .

It’s sad.

I used to watch Frasier at the end of the day when I was too tired to concentrate on anything else. But now, no more Frasier.

I am halfway through Season 11, the last season of Frasier.

As one friend said, when she borrows my DVDs and finishes Season 11, she’s going to start all over. I might do that as well. I think I’m going to miss the Cranes being part of my daily routine.

Whew. We left, however, on a sour note. So…it’s on to Season 10!

It took me a long time to get through this season. Blame it on: baseball, plays, the Olympics, text messaging, 43Things, summer movies…blah, blah, blah…

I felt the writing was there for this season, but there were also some more serious moments than in the past. Niles and Daphne show more serious sides. I thought the inclusion of Daphne’s mother (played by the marvelous British music-hall actress Millicent Martin) was a wonderful addition, but her ranting gets old…she needs, hmmm…perhaps a funny son from Manchester. I think that’s in Season 10.

I’m currently at Season 8. I keep getting distracted by Seasons 1 & 2 of The Third Rock from the Sun, another fine comedy.

I’ve hooked a friend of mine on Frasier, so her family gets the DVDs by season after I’m finished.

It seems impossible that this series keeps its own level of achievement, year after year.

The problem with this goal is, I don’t know when it ends. How many seasons were there?
