believe I have great energy

Had to give up my NaNoWriMo goal because of getting H1N1 and a resulting lupus flare of painful dry pleurisy this month. I am still weaning of the prednisone, so need to get back on track for the holidays, without overdoing it!

This one has been hard to do lately, especially with the change in weather! I actually took 1/2 day off the other day just to come home and take a nap, since everything was hurting so bad. Lo and behold, within about 24 hours we had a big storm come through that dumped some 12 inches of rain in about 24 hours over the Olympic Rain Forest (about 3 inches here). Why can I always tell when they are coming?

One thing I did that helped was remembering to take care of me. With a nice new bath tub, the other night a hot bath helped considerably. I need to remember taking care of me especially during the holidays is very important. I can do this by:

1. Going to bed on time
2. Taking time for me
3. Eating right
4. Drinking enough liquids during the day
5. Remembering to take my vitamins
6. Keeping a good routine so things don’t pile up
7. Knowing when to say “no” when I have hit my limit
8. Getting some minimal exercise. Making sure the dog goes for a walk would be good for both of us!

I’ve been able to accomplish amazing things by just believing! :-)

body is now feeling it….feel like I’ve been laboring all day on a farm! Bleah!

My energy level is up! Maybe if I believe enough I can actually fly too!

One thing that is overlooked is the effect of electromagnetic fields on health. I live in a electromagnetic field STORM in my home….wireless stuff everywhere, remotes, cell phones, microwave, TV, and more and more things wired everywhere. This could be part of my problem.

I got an image of a beautiful clean bedroom with wood floors and a big fluffy rug, cool soothing colors and a big fluffy comforter, and only a small simple alarm clock….nothing fancy, no charging cell phones, no charging PDAs, no dual clock radios, etc. Just peace!

He also mentions that a mini-trampoline can be good for your health as “10 minutes a day can provide more cellular benefit than almost any other form of exercise.” I don’t know if I believe that, but it sure sounds fun!

This last week has been difficult, to say the least. Somehow I managed to sprain my Achilles tendon (no idea how), had a few sleepless nights, and other random parts of me have been falling apart. My doctor/acupuncturist just looked at me and shook their head…as I have visible physical symptoms (gallbladder, swollen lymph nodes/neck) but perfect labwork. To top it off, for the grand finale, the doctor watched in disbelief as when I was ready to go, I picked up my necklace (didn’t even start to put it on) only to have it somehow explode sending beads flying everywhere all over the office.

At least someone has been there to witness these things with the power to help…the doctor is getting on the phone with my primary care provider to try and piece some things together. I’ve got the lowest chi she has ever seen. On the surface, I look in perfect shape, appear healthy, perfect weight, etc. but at least this doc is willing to dig deeper. Maybe energy is in sight.

Confirmed by acupuncturist who did a test and said I had hardly any yet observed/concluded I am exhausted. I guess I will just have to work on believing a little harder!

...and it would be so nice to find if that thinking pattern was changed, maybe I’d get more done in a 24 hour day??? Imagine the things I could accomplish!

I feel like I just need a good oomph to get my garage under control.
