made our reservations for july. my parents, my brother, dave and i will be camping out in new hampshire (dave and i have our own tent; my parents and brother will be shacking up in the RV), visiting family i haven’t seen in years, hanging out in maine and vermont, and who knows what else. what’s most important, though, is that dave and i will be renting a car for the entire trip so we can spend at least one day exploring vermont and go house-hunting up there, too. i think i’m most excited about getting one step closer to living in the green mountain state. last summer reminded me how much i love tent camping, so that’ll be a nice treat, too.
i’m just hoping this vacation doesn’t begin with my poor finace getting bombarded with bad-news-riddled phone calls again. he’s been through entirely too much during the last year, and i just want him to have a nice, enjoyable vacation where he’s not worrying about so many things back home.
