Feb 2006, I walk into this house; it spoked to me…I bought my house and decided to wait until I had more money to paint the rooms. We painted the boys rooms and their bathroom July 4th weekend. It is time to do my room and bathroom. Then get started on the living room and kitchen so I can decorate my beloved house!
jensathomewfiggy is thinking that there's so many more than 43 things I want to do!!
Halfway done! I painted the living room, dining room and hallway the palest of blues…it’s so comforting and relaxing! I love it. I painted the family room spiritual white…I think I bought that one for the master bedroom but made a mistake…and the master bedroom is painted a very pale lilac (thats what I think I picked for the family room, thank goodness I made the mistake and painted the bedroom w/this color!). Two more bedrooms and a bathroom…then I’m done! woo hooo!
Well, we have three walls painted in Ben’s room, which makes it time to paint the mural in his room. So I bought an art projector last night. Now I just need to figure out what kind of paint to get.
My GF painted the baby room a pretty shade of blue we agreed on. We both really like it, but we are still having problems getting good edges.
I painted half of the den, and that looks pretty good.
I need to paint the master bedroom, but that will have to wait till spring.
I attempted to paint the cabinets in the kids’/guest bathroom in mid-August. The “lime juice” colored paint was…white. I’ll try again with a darker shade, and hopefully do the walls at the same time.
I painted a wall in my den. I’m still having problems making sharp lines at the edges. Also tend to accidentally hit the side walls or ceiling on occasion.
I’ve lived in my house for over a year and a half now. I have painted two rooms: the kitchen (lettuce green) and my daughter’s room. Otherwise, EVERY wall and ceiling in my house is white. And scuffed. It’s an old house. It could have a lot of character if I could make some color choices. I’m staying at home with my kids right now and I have a lot of time to look at the white walls. I really want some color in here.
