buy a flat

This probably sounds stupid, but I want to be one of those people with interesting things from different cities and countries with amazing stories behind them.

I am working on it now…
First steps toward making it real are made!

So the credit crunch has munched this idea. ;(

but with a good view, 3 rooms, one of them for a “media room”, a place to create memories, to share with that special person and to make me feel that my life is, at last, stable.

Nothing big – just one bedroom, living room, good sized kitchen, bathroom and maybe a little balcony…

I put an offer on an almost perfect flat last week, was so excited and then found out two other people had put offers on way above my limit. Oh well, going to see some more flats this weekend..

yeah, we’ve finally bought a flat :) it’s quite small, but it was very cheap (compared to price of others) and it’s in a perfect place… and now there’s lot of work ahead us: clean out, decorate… but I’m looking forward to it :)

but Worth all the hassle. Contracts exchanged today, should be moving there within 3 weeks.

Well suprise suprise I didnt get the flat I put an offer in on. It was a conservative bid but I feel like I’ve started now. I’m expecting quite a few offers before actually getting a place.

I made the first step on this goal today and went looking at some flats around Edinburgh. It was a little depressing as each flat had something substantial wrong with it and yet I knew they were going to go for well over the asking price.

Patience is what is probably required for this one.
