finish my crochet projects

I have an interview with the lady at JoAnn’s Fabrics for the position of crochet 1 and 2 instructor. I’ve been working on making samples, since she asked for them, of my work. I am currently working on a bag from craftbits.com called lotus bag. It is an antique pattern, so it is frilly. I’m doing it in hot pink. I think I’m going to make two things if I have the chance to.
And I am almost done with my star baby blanket…yes the popular one. I think I’ll finish that tonight and give it to my mom tomorrow.

Now there’s a man who thinks he’s getting a BJ tonight. LMAO. He’s so cute.

It has a picture of a forest from MtG. I used photoshop and MS Paint to make the pattern.

::Sigh:: I still don’t have pictures of that kitty cat hat. I’m waiting for my check so that I can get a new camera for my photography class. But anyhorse…
I really do <3 craftster.org, and a new topic is posted up there by me, Artemisfair. I had a really great idea for a dice-bag/card-box holder (crochet of course) for my magic:the gathering deck and I wanted to start a craftalong/crochetalong so that I wouldn’t have to do it alone. If anyone here is into D&D, WoW, Magic:The Gathering and wants some support while they make a craft, feel free to make an account and I’ll link you to the forum the topic is at. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to sign on in a few weeks because my laptop was in the shop, but I have been working dilligently on my crafts.

I made a furry kitty cat hat (it’s a plum/wine colored hat) with the new hooks and yarn I got for Christmas. The hooks are plastic and multicolored with glitter stuck inside. I got a skein of yarn in ther mentioned color, it feels a lot like chenille, but it’s actually acrylic and polyester. Very furry and warm. I also got two skeins of eyelash yarn, the same color, but mixed with lime green. I made a few rows with this on the cat ears hat.

I also made a pair of fingerless gloves with the remains of the material. I love them. I’ll try to post pictures when I get my camera back.
