Fully Decorate and Furnish my House

So, I’d officially accomplished this goal when the goal was to decorate and furnish an apartment. Now I’ve got to work on my House. (since it’s changed) I have an extra bedroom & an Family room now. I’ve got the dining room mostly done, and a good start on the bedroom, bathroom, Living Room and Kitchen.

SO I bought new curtains for the living room, they are a chocolate brown tweed. They look soo sharp, I’m excited. I think next weekend I’m attacking the bedroom, I’m going to do curtains in there too. Then I think this goal might actually be done.. yee Ha..!

So my new space is smaller and so it’s nice becuase I feel like my apartment is full of as much furniture as it can fit. Actually my dining table is probably a bit to big for the space, but I’m pretending it’s not. Now I Just need a few pictures on the walls and some curtains and I’ll be done, I think I may put this goal on hold though until I buy my house, cuz i don’t plan on being here for very long. I’m going to try to buy a house come December..!

So I bought a new Dining Room table on Overstock.com. I got it on Monday, and now I’m waiting for the chairs to come on Saturday. I jumped forward today and ate at it anyways today with some random chairs I had. it was really friendly. It’s going to give a purpose to the dining room now, rather then just a room I have to walk through to get to the bedroom. Specially since I moved the desk out. I also converted my livingroom closet into a new home office to make space for the new table. I must say over all I find good things on overstock. I purchased my matress on there 2 years ago and have been very very happy..!

I bought a new rug for my living room from World Market It was kinda pricy and I debated on buying it. But I decided what the heck.. Went to the register and guess what..! 40% OFF Yeee Haa… I’m was pretty darn happy..! Yay for the lady at the register for handing me a 40% coupon. She made my day seriously 97.6% better..!

So I’m really liking my living room, but it’s soooo dark even during the day. I like the dark blue, but I’ve got to do something to brighten it up. Anyone have any suggestions..? Let me know.. Thanks.

So I re-painted the kitchen this weekend and put up some shelves. It really brings the space together.. Yee Haa..! The bottom half is choclolate brown and the top is light blue with a white chair rail and trim. It’s really looking something fantastic. I’m excited. So now I need to figure out what to do with the dinning room and bedroom, then I’ll be done. I’m really getting excited about my space.!

I’ve decided that I need to make my apartment cozy, so I painted my living room a grey/blue color with white trim. It looks so sharp.. I’m really excited. Last night I was laying on my couch excited about my job well done. I started a fire and the dog was laying by my side. It was very relaxing. Now I just need to get some pictures in there and a few shelves. That should be fantastic..! I’m so excited. Dinning room and Kitchen here I come..!
