Get a new floor lamp

With the sun at full blast I hardly need a new lamp. This semi-broken one will do until November.

My lamp’s base crumbled when I tilted it to change a light bulb and now it leans ever so slightly. My shining Pisa.

Every time I touch it, the lamp teeters fragilely and threatens to fall apart. It wasn’t expensive – it’s the ubiquitous Ikea Not lamp that quietly lights up rooms in every other home around the world.
