Always have a book on hand that I really want to be reading

overall, I have done this since putting up this goal, and it’s been good. I’ve read a handful of books I would not have otherwise read. So since “always” makes it hard to decide when a goal has actually been reached, I feel I’ve improved enough on this to check it off.

What a difference it makes to just have the book there. I find I will opt for a book over TV most times – if I just have it there to read. Of course, it helps that I’m off of work . . . we’ll see how this one plays out over the next few months.

Kabul Beauty School. I wanted to read it. I feel like I don’t have a lot of time to read but if I don’t have a book around, I certainly won’t read. And I mean a book I really want to be reading. So I’m going to work on that.
