Plant bulbs in the fall

I have 300 bulbs sitting in my garage waiting to be planted. I dread it, but it will be worth it once it’s done. Then in the spring I’ll have to add in some perennials. I don’t mind the hard work up front as long as it’s low maintenance in the future.

I’m looking forward to Spring so much already. I bought several, several bulbs when they were on sale. I’ve planted a few but there are many left. Whenever I have a day off though the weather seems to take a turn for the colder, grayer, and rainier. Today it is not too bad, although 45 degrees is cold for me. I need to just get out there and do it anyway.

Every time I’ve planted bulbs I’ve moved before the bulbs came up in the spring. I’ll be here in the spring so I’d really like to plant some pretty bulbs so I can see them when they come up.
