How I did it: I received a check from my grandmother for my birthday. I took the check to my local credit union and signed in at the front desk. I waited for about 10 minutes, then a banker came and got me from the waiting area. I told the banker I wanted to open a savings account and she had me give her my information. I signed some paperwork, handed in my check, and she gave me my account information and we were done. Read how I did it… 5 months ago
