What stopped me is my cousin worked there. He would call off sick for bullshit reasons. A few times he was sick but had to go to work because he used all his sick days. It was just disgusting. Also, I knew some friends that worked there they told me about the blatent disreguard for safety regulations. They would mess around with people’s food whenever they were on 2 weeks notice because they’re not paid enough to care. Basically the only workers you can truust at McDonalds are Mexicans and Chinese people. Except for the few new guys who are optimistic about they’re first job but eventully, the dream dies. Yea, there are some good workers there but they are spread pretty damn thin. 7 years ago

supersize me was simply an exposition of the ground already trod by {color:red} Eric Schlosser in his fantastic (disturbing) book, {color:red} Fast Food Nation. It took me a while after reading that book to even consider going near the Golden Arches. seriously disgusting. If you want someone to stop eating that sort of rubbish, give them this book to read. It will work miracles (probably!) I think I’ve eaten a McD burger maybe 4 times in the past 4 years (twice as I was treating a friend who normally couldn’t afford to eat there).
