finally finish college

so i’m back in school. after a 2 year abscence i’m finally back mainly because my dad is paying for it. i really want to finish it this time, so i’m really focused on it. plus, i consider myself a more mature person.

that’ll be a little ways off. I’m like three semesters away from my Biology B.S. and I’m totally transferring to a Christian school and doing a BS in Missiology… seems crazy, but I’m so determined to be who God wants me to be. I will be obedient even when it doesn’t make sense to me. I’ll finish college, just not on my timing. My life isn’t my own any way; I’m crucified; Galatians 2:20

I went to UC Santa Cruz for 3+ years then had to leave when I couldn’t afford to stay there any longer. I did a little more college work after that but dropped out when I got a job in my field – computer programming – and I’ve been working ever since.
I’d really like to finish and get my degree, and would prefer to get it from UCSC since I did almost all my work there. I don’t know if it matters to my career since I’ve now been a “professional” for 20 years, but I’d like to do it just for myself.

This is my fifth year in college. I feel old and a failure. My excuse is that I’ve had to work to pay for the expenses, and that doesn’t leave me much time to take many classes in a period. This is my main goal right now.
