It was worth it, in a surprising way. Shooting a .22 felt a bit like archery, but without the difficulty of having to let go of the string just right.

I went on an army training day a while ago (Not out of choice though)and they had a shooting range. I shot one of the rifles they use in Iraq – it can blow holes straight through someone.
And it foesn’t make a bang, it makes more of a “crack” noise.

Worth doing!
It was pretty much how I thought it would be. No recoil, and not so loud. I want to try to shoot something like a 12 gauge next.
