 "Spent a few hours dumping out everything from my drawers, organizing, and throwing out what I no longer needed for a cleaner room."
How I did it: I'm a messy person, but I've always thought of myself as an organized kind of messy. Sure it may have looked like a tornado specifically targeted my room to the untrained eye, but I knew exactly where everything was. However, it got really bad at one point. I could no longer see the floor and it was difficult to sleep in my bed because I had thrown things on there as well. Lessons & tips:

How I did it: I set aside the whole day yesterday for cleaning. I worked on everything in sections and I even planned out on paper exactly what needed to be done so that I could check it off as I went along. Well, I’ve been planning on cleaning my room for some time now but whenever I try cleaning in there I get dizzy and have to leave.
It’s that bad.
I’m not sure where to start but I figure it will take me 6 hours. Thats just an estimate, it could take me a week.
simplyjane is working and housesitting.
rachel and I started. rachel really did most of it. but I’ve continued on it.
I need to get rid of most of my shit so I can get out of my house.
Phase on is complete.
Today I have made my bed, vacummed my room and put alway/put in the washing all of my clothes.
Still to do :
1. Organise study books
2. Organise dressing table
3. Organise/ dust cd area
4. Keep room clean!!!
and then the goal is complete!
I started cleaning my room by getting rid of ALOT of unecessary papers that I have been accumulating. Now I just have to finish:) I still have some more papers to throw away and then I can sweep, vacuum and polish the wood. Then I’ll be done!

I spent all afternoon today cleaning, It took me hours! I’m not going to say I’ve completed this yet because there’s still a bit of tidying to do, and I don’t want to forget about it.

Okay, if I don’t get called in to work tomorrow, I MUST clean! I’m writing this here because otherwise I know I’ll be tempted to take a lazy day.
and by all the junk i mean all of it, there isn’t anything in my room (at home) that i didn’t specifically choose to be there. all that’s left to do is find places for the pile of stuff that i decided to keep, and maybe get rid of my nasty rug. then, done.
I forgot to take true ‘before’ pictures, but here’s what it’s looking like after about 2 days of cleaning.
