I was able, after writing a letter, making a call, sending the first 50 pages then sending the entire manuscript secure her as my agent. I am currently working on a rewrite based upon her notes. Yeah!

How I did it: Called and spoke to her assistant and sold myself...then got the okay to send a query letter...A very difficult task! Worked FOREVER on the query letter. Then got the okay to send the first 50 pages. Then got the okay to send the entire manuscript. Before I sent it I went through it and took a bunch of things out...very, very quickly. Then I got the okay that she wanted to be my agent. I felt like I'd won the lottery.

want to change agents…mine has been embroiled in leaving her old agency and starting her own agency. Not sure if I want to stick around. Love Nicole Aragi. Want her to be my new agent.
