I’ve always imagined being wrapped in the folds of a sari (and walking at the same time!) as being the height of gracefulness.
School and college functions were the occasions to wear saris, which we girls always looked forward to, ‘cos it gave us an excuse to dress up and feel all grown up. :D
Having studied in Gujarat, also learned the Gujarati way of draping the ‘pallu’.
Learning to walk wearing a sari, is something else altogether…

Yesterday I had baby-free time to try the sari and it went very well! I love it and I’m planning on wearing it all day Saturday.
It even worked well with breastfeeding.
I found the shirt and the skirt I want to wear with the sari. Now to find baby-free time to actually do it.
I have a sari! Now I have to gather up the rest of the stuff I need to wear with it and find those instructions again.
