to make it my own. I am so impressed and inspired by those who are doing Napowrimo. Knowing myself, I would never keep up with the challenge of doing this daily. But challenging myself to write a poem a week might work. I find the suggested exercises really stimulating. So, I will keep a copy of the exercises and use them at a pace I can handle.

I may try do a bit of collaging. It was something I did when I was younger and it seems to draw me in naturally.
Drawing with crayons just did not work out this time.
about thistle colored crayons. It inspired some thinking that I might listen to music and draw with crayons for say, 10 minutes a day. This might be a very renewing activity. Even on my most stressful, full days, I bet I could manage this.
from Sigrid Olsen. She was a fashion designer for Liz Claiborne, but has returned to painting. Her nature designs inspire me to want to do some printing or something with layers of cut tissue paper. I think that I will aim for a little bit of experimentation by June 1. Maybe my daughters would like to join me in this adventure :-)
For me, focusing on the goal in this light gives it more substance than be more creative.
