I really want to be in a band! I’m learning guitar and my friend can play the electric bass. Another can play the drums, and another can sing. So we’ve talked about, but haven’t really REALLY thought throughly about it yet…
yay :D got into a band today called CMS for short, Citizens of a Murder Scene is the real name and we mix between punk and emo :)
It sounds awesome and I still want to but, bad news. My friends has decided that she joined some other and so I’m left all alone. Hee, a lone singer. Oh well, so it’s basically done now.
I’m the drummer for a new band that’s starting up in Sylmar, California. The Soulfires is our name and we have a lead singer/guitarist, second guitarist, bass player, drummer (me), keyboard/piano player, and three back up vocalists. Although everyone in the band has their main role we do switch it up whenever we want to because most of us play multiple instruments (I play guitar, bass, and drums). We’re covering alot of old soul bands; Al Green, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, etc. plus some misc. Bob Marley and other good stuff and we have a few original songs too. It’s going good so far and we are having regular practices at least once a week and plan to start playing some shows pretty soon. That’s about it and hope everyone else’s
musical aspirations are working out. Peace.

Well, so far CameoAiLavada, yes our awesome band name, has taken off! We have a few songs written and we have the lead singer and electric guitarist figured out. We just need to fill in other spots of our band. I will admit that our band is so going to be pretty Gothic, but more towards the lolita gothic type, not the gothic that people usually classify it as. The very first song that we will, and are, working on is called “Deadly Dreams”. Hopefully we can find some others to join our band. They NEED to be able to handle the image, our hyper selves, playing their part, and just all that kinda stuff. Ya, we’re weird, who cares?
Anyone want a serious pianist for crap in band? would like to start serious band but I’ve never been in one. I would LOVE to learn how to play my electric guitar (like everyone else) I’m making another… I sing too have Way too many instruments @ house… drums, bass, guitarS, mics… everything, but friggin’ people
its not as hard as it sounds, it comes with a lot of dedication and equal input from every member of the band to make sure everyone get thier ideas out there, you’ll get it. recruit dedicated people that communicate musically
I loooove music, and I play a couple instruments (piano, guitar, a little drums) and I also write a lot, but I’ve never actually put a band together, and I really want to! Well obviously!
