Put together the grand event - adar's ordination - in May 2008.

Some things went wrong, but no problem came up that couldn’t be solved.

And most of it went very well. Yippee!!

at 9 am this morning. I’m only 4 days early. I found J.P., explained that I am anxious about the only piece of the equation I can’t control. He said he understood, and would get the confirmation/instructions email out to me today.

tomorrow before I get into the car and head northwards on Friday morning.

The weekend beckons. Nothing left to plan. Just let it all unfold.

Gettin’ down to it. We’re all a little nervous.

Actually, there’s not much to do at this point except: (1) Send a reminder on Monday to invitees; (2) check in one last time with the minibus people.

That’s about it. The rest of the week just have to unfold.

We’re almost there!!!!

I booked another hotel room for the celebration after the ordination weekend, for one of our guests. And I bought and set up the ordination present – very cool!

I feel much better about the events. We’re breaking them down into little tasks, so they appear much more doable, much less daunting.

Things are starting to get specific, which is good. A lot of details have to fall into place.

...but the big event is looming: May 2008.

I have sent out a save-the-date email. I have booked a hotel for the after-event. In a few days we’re going to try out a hotel for the out-of-town guests.

So it’s clickin’ along.
