I’m doing it in squares that I’m going to sew together. I have no idea if this is right or not… whatever!

I’m starting one! Right now it’s light blue, and I’m pretty sure it’s going to take me forever. BUT in the end I want it to be a baby blanket for when my sister decides to have kids. eeeee
Exciting. :)
It took me 2 years but it was worth it. My blanket looks great and is soo snuggly and warm! Finished just in time for winter and a housewarming present for my man. =)
Onto the backing and edging now… aiming to finish this in 4 days. So close now!!
I’ve tackled scarves & mittens. I think it’s time to move on to something a little more ambitious!
I’ve put this project away for 8 months or so.. which is a shame as it was so close to being finished!
But I am going to get back into it soon and keep sewing all my knitted squares together. My boyfriend should be moving in to his first home soon, so I want to give it to him as a sort of housewarming present! I think i should have a few months to finish it. Should be enough time =)
I have started a baby blanket for my friends daughter. Im planning on having it done by her baby shower. Cross fingers.
I want to do this to give as a gift next Christmas. I’m hoping that if I start soon I’ll have the whole year to do it and might actually have some chance at finishing it…maybe. We’ll see how this goes.

I don’t think I’m a very good knitter. I don’t know how to do the granny squares an no one around here will show me. (Telling me won’t work…I need to see it and do it for myself to learn) I did one but it was terrible so I don’t consider it a success. One day I’ll do it!
