I’ve started alternating reading and knitting during my lunch break – I enjoy both, but have to make time for them! Right now my work book is “Trespassers on the Roof of the World: The Secret Exploration of Tibet” and it’s great. The chapters are pretty short, so I can read one or two rather quickly. Last week it wasn’t too hot, so I sat outside and enjoyed the sunshine with my book. Good times!

to do this, I started a book club. So far it’s worked. We’ve read Man Camp and Speak. We are currently reading “The Memory Keeper’s Daughter” and will read “The Historian” next. It’s opening up my mind.

I made this a goal this year, and so far I’m doing well. I’ve read The Time Traveler’s Wife, Lovely Bones, and now I’m reading one of the Shopaholic books for fun.
On my “to read” list:

Garlic and Sapphires
The Devil in the White City

I currently read for school a whole bunch – but I’d love to take time and read for my own pleasure while not in class (like now during winter break)

but I often don’t devote enough time to reading. Hopefully I can change this.
