Do beadwork one night a week instead of sitting listlessly in loungeroom

I am doing an embroidery butterfly. I even did some with my mum – she is extremely talented at whatever craft she tries so to be comfortable enough to do this while she sat next to me was a big deal for me.

have begun doing bead embroidery, just practicing the stitch types and methods on plain black fabric. Its much more relaxing than jewellery making. I can even do it while watching tv. Like it better.

ok – a starting piece. I am going to randomly bead my pink satin cushion with my beads.

have been beading over this easter break. He’s at the opposite end of the house doing his hobby at the kitchen table. I like my solitude and the chance to play my music without derisive comments.

Wasting to much of my life sitting in the lounge room out of a sense of obligation – that I should spend the evening in A’s presence. This is pointless, he doesn’t give me the same attention. I like beading and want to get better at it, so I have confidence with it. Can play my music in the study at the same time. It will be good me time.
