I’ve seen Niagara Falls, which was just unexplainable. They produce so much power it is hard to imagine. I’ve seen any number of small waterfalls in rivers and creeks, but everytime you realize how beautiful they are.
I actually even built a waterfall for my mom.
If you have a special place you want to see, do it! Don’t put it off.
Waterfalls in Iceland are called “Foss” – Check any map and you’ll see sh#t loads of them… Most of which are easy to get to from the road – simply look for anything with Foss in the name and stop for a look.
Picture above is of Gulfoss (one of Iceland’s most famous and easy to get to from Reykjavik).

I want to see more waterfalls! I want to see one when the weather is warm enough for me to swim under it! But just seeing the waterfall in TN was amazing. It wasn’t flowing as much as normal, but it was still well worth hiking to! My avatar pic is of the waterfall I saw!
Maybe I can see another one when I go back next month! :-)
It was beautiful…My husband took me out on my birthday on a secret, magical, mystery trip. I was so blown away when we got there that I almost cried, totally my kind of thing. Deep in the countryside, next to a beautiful river and the sound gloriously deafening…I was awestruck and reluctant to move on but the memory lingers and it’s not so far away. My hope is to return there soon and this time I’m going to stand under it…
