read all of the Valdemar series by Mercedes Lackey

My first venture with Misty was The Last Herald Mage. I was instantly hooked and have read most anything I can get my hands on of Misty. I love the Valdemar series, especially the Last Herald Mage (Magic’s Pawn, Magic’s Promise, Magic’s Price). I have read these three books over and over and bawl like a baby every time. 15 months ago

I have put this goal on hold as I am immersing myself in histories and historical novels that relate to Scotland. Valdemar will always be here – but my trip to Scotland just may be once in a lifetime! 2 years ago

I have most of the books now (THANKS Cuz!). So I intend to restart this with intentions of finishing them by March. 3 years ago

I have completed reading the three books in the Mage Wars Trilogy. Each book was better together, but could be read as a stand alone.

The Black Gryphon was a Fantasy War story. The White Gryphon was a political/mystery Fantasy. The Silver Gryphon was an adventure/survival fantasy. An intriguing and great way to start the Lackey-athon.

I am now going to read a few other books before starting the next trilogy, which is the Last Herald Mage series. 3 years ago

is an author I have read bits & pieces of, but for some reason, very little of her biggest & best known series! I have the first trilogy – The Mage Wars & have completed, The Black Gryphon. I have been picking up the books for awhile & am planning to read them in the order listed which is more or less chronological. An X indicates I have a copy, and yes two XX’s means two copies. I bought a few lots on ebay.
