Its time to start living! 9 months ago

I will be 25 in 3 weeks and what a rough ride it has been for me. I do realize I have a lot going for myself…I have no children, a degree, a promising career and a wonderful amazing boyfriend. However, I feel as though there are many things I have yet experienced and because of my rough start in life, I come across as being very serious, so much so people assume I’m much older than I really am. I want to LIGHTEN UP and start enjoying life. I don’t want to take things so seriously and start communicating more with others (even if I think they’re immature assess)

They'll never come round again! 10 months ago

Have you ever found yourself just stuck in a rut…?
That your so disconnected from everything else around you…?
...man this is starting to sound like im selling something or im a voice over for a commercial or something (i saying the stuff in my head as i write…think JD in ‘scrubs’ and you’ll hopefully get the picture!)
so anyways, felt compelled to put this one of the list. The concept of time is a strange one, and we’ll…before i hit my 20’s i felt older than i was. Now the days just roll on and before you know it, i’ll be hitting 40 with kids telling them stories of when mummy was in her prime…(either that or become a scary cat lady who smells of kitty litter/cat nip! not saying there’s anything wrong with that…(If you fall under this category, i mean no offense…please don’t send your cats after me…my cat’s would take yours anyways!))
Which ever im destined to become, i’ve realised that i need to make the most of every single moment!
I don’t regret, i don’t really see the point. We can’t go back and change things. I do however believe in acknowledging mistakes. And on that note, today is the start of something great (even if its only merely a thought) because tomorrow it might just become real! so here is is!...making the VERY best of my 20’s!

If you ever find it difficult to do this, watch/listen to Baz Luhrmann’s ‘everybody’s free to wear sunscreen’. It’s from my personal collection of happy songs and helps me put things back into context about life when I get caught up. Hope it helps you make the best of your 20s.

Conclusion: Hoping for better days, direction known, still learning to breathe deeply and another few years to perfect this =]

This Charming Man has been missing in action but is back, Jack!

Blackpool 16 months ago

Yesterday was Monday which usually means back to work…
I don’t like Mondays.
I’ve never had a good monday in my life.
We don’t get much of a summer here but on Sunday the sun was scorching and was a beautiful day. I would bet it was hotter thank most holiday destinations. We’re not used to this, so me and my friends took advantage, piled into my car and went to the water park. It was a great day. laughing and joking.
Then waking on Monday morning only to see the sun cracking the stones was very depressing. The fact I’d have to go to work in this glorious day.
I got on the phone first thing.
I never made it into work yesterday.
Neither did my 3 friends.
We jumped in the car early sand went to Blackpool for the day.
messed about on the beach. had a hotdog. went to the pleasure beach and theme park. Had a few drinks out in a beer garden and finished off with traditional fish and chips and an ice cream.
Bloomin’ marvellous!
My best monday ever.
I’d better go to work tomorrow….

If it’s not sunny.

How do I make the most out of my 20s? 17 months ago

What does this mean?
Enjoy yourself while you can?
Before you have a mortgage/wife/children to look after?
Before my ’’freedom’’ is curbed?
Before I have to become sensible and reponsible?
Mature?
Is this what it means?
What is a mid 20 year old meant to be doing?

I’ve spent alot of time worried recently.
And moping around and what for?
Is doesn’t do any good.

OK
I going to do what I do best.
Go out with friends more,
and drink,
and dance,
and dance more,
and drink more
and laugh
and stay out until the early hours of the morning,
and go to see my football team when the league starts again .
and go out with my brothers more and do more things together.
and speak to mum and dad more. I mean really talk.
smile again.

I’m sick of being sad. I’m just not like this.
I was the life and soul of the party, now I’m a fart in wardrobe in the an empty room, in the house of the party.
I’m going to start having a laugh again.
Time to start enjoying myself more.
I not even nearly as old as I think I am.

Peter Pan is an old man 21 months ago

I feel old and I know that I am not. I recently been spending alot of time catching up with old school friends, and I think alot about the good times I had at school. I am lucky because I know alot of people who hated school and had a horrible time there, whereas I loved every minute of it. It feels so long ago now though and I feel abit sad.

I know now that time has come to grow up but I don’t want to just yet.
