not have a headache

I’ve had a headache since December 2005. It hasn’t ever gone away. No medicine helps. My mom has taken me to every doctor we can find and no one seems to know what the problem is. There is not a single medicine that makes it go away, or even lessens it. It’s really hard having to deal with highschool and teenage stuff when I’m constantly in pain. And of course no one understands. They’re like, “oh you have a headache again? just suck it up.” okay, come talk to me when you’ve had one for a year and a half.

Anyone have any ideas for me?

Unless I’ve been drinking a bit the night before.

I still get occasional migraines, but beyond that, used to wake up EVERY SINGLE DAY with a headache. Sometimes it would fade as the day went on, usually it wouldn’t.
I saw a lot of doctors about it and they asked me all kinds of questions and told me that it was stress-induced (I like working 120 hour work weeks) and that I needed to chill out. I heard this “diagnosis” for 3 years without one doc ever even wanting to take a CT of my head. I worked less, drank tea and took yoga classes: less stress, same headaches.
I ended up getting the sinus infection from hell, I thought, out of the blue. At the time I worked for a doc (though I’d never told him about my frequent headache issue). Infection was so severe that my boss ordered me to take a CT scan which revealed completely socked in sinuses.
After 2 months of antibiotics and 3 weeks of oral steriods I woke up one morning, for the first time in 3 years, without a headache. And so went the next day and the next…
I ended up seeing an ENT for follow up of the sinus ordeal and was diagnosed with chronic sinusitis. He told me to come back if I ever started having daily headaches again. Since then, I know when the sinuses are getting nasty because the headaches come back.
It was wonderful to learn that I wasn’t suffering from some kind of neurological disorder or something. And, after 3 years, the daily headaches have not returned!

headaches are the worse… i feel like i haven’t had a pain free day forever…
