My son asked me if he could go to clown school.
I said “I dont think there is such a thing”
So I looked it up and lo and behold there was a clown college right near us!
So I signed up and will graduate August 15th.
My son is still too young to go to this school but he has already been clowning with me and learning from me.
My clown name is Rahni Starr and his is Doc Rock.

I want to try this out for fun, to wear the silly face-paint, huge shoes, baggy trousers etc. then to go out in a public place and show off a few tricks. Maybe even let people splat pies in my face for a laugh.

My husband recently abandoned me in a foreign country. Life has been challenging.
I have decided that I invite laughter and the power of smiles into my life. It is time for me to stop taking life so seriously and reconnect with my inner clown.

I even put some clown make up on at the weekend. Peppermintcream if youre reading maybe you could put that photo up. It seems like a rewarding way to live. I know you can do classes in it.

Being a clown is magical and worth doing because you will find out how happy you can make people just by smiling and waving at them! How often do get to walk down the middle of the street and make hundreds of people laugh carrying a rubber chicken in a party dress?
And if you can make balloon animals and do face painting, you can easily make someone’s entire day!
The best part is when some little girl or boy just puts their arms out and wants a hug from you, just because you have pink hair and are wearing a silly outfit and you are being real!
Clowning allows you put aside pessimism, put aside the cynical adult society and rules, and be the best parts of yourself to make the world a more colorful fun place!

I want to be a clown… not professionally, just for fun. I’d like to go to the park with my best friend “MoJoe” the clown and make balloon flowers and animals for all the little kids. It’s so fun being a clown… always a happy face no matter what. I want to go downtown with the girls dressed as a clown. That would be great! Maybe I’ll meet a nice boy clown.
