I’m working on this goal. If all goes well, I should be able to report back that I did it soon. : – )
How to write a novel in a month
It made me 
"My story was not super, but I loved writing it."
How I did it: I signed up for National Novel Writing Month and I was absolutely DETERMINED not to lose. I can be extremely stubborn when I want to and I think that saying I was NOT going to lose helped me do it. Also, if you tell a bunch of people about it, and hate looking like a fool or loser, then it helps a lot, too.
Lessons & tips: Join NaNoWriMo. Go to write-ins. Meet some fellow NaNoWriMo-ers. Be determined not to lose. Have word wars. Get your mom to do it and BEAT her. ;)

There is a bunch on a portable word-processor that I haven’t moved over yet. Now to box it and go over it for another project later next year.

I am trying to work my school work into this project. It isn’t easy, but I am doing it. I have several papers due next Monday, but not all of them are going to add to my word count.
I am so busy, but I am making word count.
I will get back to the ridiculously detailed account of my writing efforts later on this week.
I am doing much better on this.

I’m writing and will re-assess how I am going to complete this goal by the end of the month. I am burning my vacation time next week to finish my school work, work on my NaNoWriMo, and relax.

My new goal is to be 65% done by Sunday.
This way I will be caught up.

3,300 words a day for the 5 days to get caught up.

Status- Off track- still behind 7 %.
I still need ≈3,334 words to get from being behind to being caught up. Perhaps I will write 2,540 words tomorrow. It will round out what I will have left to 30,000, which will mean I am 2/5th of the way though.
