understand that no one gets out of this world alive, so realize that the time to live, learn, care, share, celebrate, and love is right now

So, I am sitting here watching a VH1 special on Buffett and I start dreaming about sailing around the Caribbean Islands. I lived in Key West for a brief time and from there was hired to crew a boat to Isle Mujeres (a kick ass place but I’ve heard that its been spoiled by development) in Mexico but I never made it the “Islands”. I google Jimmy Buffett and end up at a web site talking about Island living and there I find a quote by Dr. Leo Buscaglia (which is the goal listed above). I know, pretty random stuff, but the quote kind of eschews the sailor/island philosophy so it is now my newest thing to do! but I’m still dreaming of sailing around carefree soaking up the rays – once a parrot head always a parrot head)
