It wasn’t the weekend of debauchery I had initially hoped for, but is was really terrific. I loved spending time with my best friend and boyfriend, and everything we did was really fun. We conquered a lot of things on the list, and my relationships with Russ, Emily, my mother, and Jackdog were all strengthened.
And really, that’s all I could ask for.

Emily ordered a small brownie sundae. HA. Small, indeed.
I ordered, obviously, the peanut butter cup sundae.
Russ got a cup of Banana Peanut Butter with peanut butter sauce.
Emily had to put a majority of hers in the freezer because it was just soooo much. I couldn’t even eat all of mine, and we all know how much I love ice cream. It was a good trip.

Last night we hit a little blip when Emily got a truly bizarre delayed hangover. We had to forgo the Cafe and Then Some and going to Gypsy G’s. Russ and I ended up going to one of his employee’s homes, which was all in all OK I suppose.
Today, however, we had a blast. We woke up, showered, went to Duke’s for sandwiches, and then Em and I took Jack to the park and to my grandmother’s house. She thought they were really cool, and she’s right. Then we all went to see Horton Hears A Who! which was, in a word, incredible!
Tonight I am cooking down-home breakfast for dinner: biscuits & gravy, bacon, scrambled eggs, and waffles. And I think we might watch Harold & Maude because Em’s never seen it. (BERATE HER ASAP!!!) Otherwise, we might have some people over to the apartment if the vibe is right.

So far, so very, very good. Last night, my fellas came over and we all had a rolickin’ good time. I don’t think I’ve laughed that hard for that long in a great while, and it felt goood. I’m a little hungover, but we’ve got mimosas poured, so do not worry.
Next stop: Goodwill.

Last Hurrah.

So here’s the deal: I’ve really never lived it up at Spring break like any self-respecting college student does. Come to think of it, my spring breaks have been terminally boring. And this year was no different.
But.
There’s one last chance. Easter Break beings tomorrow as soon as my Lit. Crit. class lets out. Emily is coming home with me, and we are going to spend every minute living the Hell out of this break.
Things We Want To Do- Go to the new Gypsy G , which is the brand new location of Russ’ and my favorite bar in Greenville
- Go to the Greenville Zoo
- See Horton Hears A Who
- Go to a show at the Cafe and Then Some
- Eat at Duke’s
- Ride the Greenville Trolley around downtown
- [Hopefully] Rack up at Goodwill!
- Watch Best in Show (which Em has never seen! Gasp!) with my Mom and then eat Easter dnner with her
- Take Jack to the dog park…freaking OBVIOUSLY
- Participate in a fake tanning ritual of some kind
And much, much more.
