We went to Lake Eola on Friday again. It’s something I can motivate my husband into doing. I think mainly he doesn’t mind going because it doesn’t cost money. I enjoy it because it gets us out of the house and it gives Mason and my husband some exercise. Walking around the lake is really nice. There are some strange people around the lake which makes me a little nervous but my husband and I both being there to keep an eye on the kids makes me feel better. Mason enjoys looking at all of the swans. We walked around the lake once and then went to the play area so Mason could get some play time in before we left.

Yes.. I got my family together and we went to Lake Eola. My son loved it. He loved walking around the lake. He kept saying “water, water, water, ducks, water fountain”. It was really nice. We parked our truck and then walked around the lake until we got to the playground. Soon after that we forgot the bottle so we had to pry my son away from the playground and went back to the truck and then walked around the other way and went back to the playground.
We decided to walk to the pizza place to get dinner and then we walked back to the truck. We went home and my son and I watered the sunflowers that we had planted :) It was a really nice evening. Even if we got a 20 dollar ticket for not putting enough quarters in the meter.

I had dinner ready when my husband got off of work so we can eat and get out of the house. I wanted us to get some walking exercise as a family. I guess it’s not really exercise when you stop at the ice creme shop half way around the lake. The ice creme shop has actually expanded into an outside bar. It looks like a cozy place to have date night. You could also go on a swan around the lake.
My son enjoyed his ice creme.. he got it all over his face. We definitely have to do this outing again :) Maybe get pizza next time at the pizza place.

My husband and I took our son and walked around Lake Eola twice. It was very nice and the weather was great. It was so beautiful out. We ate at fireside and was able to bring our Old English Sheepdog on the patio. I love the area. I would love to open my private practice around the lake somewhere.

and always loved going to Lake Eola to feed the ducks. We also sat on the curb there for the xmas parade every year. Unfortunately, the last time I was there, the lake was so far down from the drought that the fountain base was sticking out of the water.
