Enjoy my Pool more

I took my son out in our pool 2 more times last week. When he takes his nap, I am trying to do a few laps in the pool for exercise. I am hoping for more sunshine this week but hurricane hanna may have some impact this week.

I have probably missed an entry or two; however I am going to go in my pool at least 8 more times before it gets cool out.

I looked back at my entries and realized that I really made a realistic goal when it came to thinking of how many times I would actually utilize my pool this summer.

I went in it Today and really enjoyed myself. My son was taking his nap and it was the perfect time. I actually got a few laps in and I even used my spaghetti noodle for some exercises.

I need to keep this up and make it a routine.

I finally went in my pool… I am going to enjoy it more this week. I need to do more swimming to work my library arms :)

apparently we were shocking it with stuff that had calcium… so our pool has accumulated to much calcium. we are now shocking it with calcium free shock. Now we have to let the chlorine levels to go down before we put ultrabrite which is going to hopefully clear it up; however, now we can finally see the bottom.. Yeah!!

We bought a new pool filter!!! I have been trying to convince my husband that we needed one and the sales rep at the pool store said we definitely needed on when we brought it in. However, I am hearing strange noises from the pump :( ha ha - I am not even going to coment on this… I believe that it was just my imagination :) Lets pray. I want to enjoy my pool soon. I want Mason to practice swimming on his back for his Y lessons and to help him along to learn how to swim.

We are in the process of cleaning it. Right now it is a bit cloudy. We have a filter system which does not work as fast as I would like. The water is still a little cold. So hopefully it will I will be able to go in it when the temperature is a little warmer outside.
