Posted a video of the plant show
In which I had 2 plants entered…there were many categories…one of my plants won a first place ribbon…a Dorstenia Crispa…Hey, what can I say…it was the only one entered…
He also posted a video of the sale room
All the best plants were at the back of the room and not even on the video…the last 15 seconds just started to get to the good tables…:(

and Sunday to go…
I entered 2 plants in the plant show too…Novice category…
So after helping set up, everyone cruises the sale room for what they want to buy…So many choices…at 40% off quite a deal too…
There were a couple we just had to have…and there were very few of our favorites…we each wanted one of these…Bursera simplicifolia
and there were only 3…bigger and nicer than the picture…
So we hung around and once they declared members could start shopping (which was 2 hours before anyone expected them to)...we just happened to be within 10 steps of the ones we wanted…
I grabbed them…
So we shopped and chose carefully…adding to our collections…At one point, Adrienne was across the room from me and overheard a conversation about Lophophora Williamsii
and the lady was very upset and said she wanted them out of here right now…Adrienne asked the man what was up…where they were and grabbed the last 2…one for each to add to our collections…
What a fun afternoon…volunteer work and the pursuit of a hobby we both find very rewarding

Working all day Friday, set up day with my significant other…set up day…we get to watch the plants come off the trucks…and see what we want before the general public does…bwaa haaaaa haaaaaa...
Of course…my significant other and I have pulled kitchen and food duty…
Whatever…we’ll be there…
By the way…she will have an account here soon also…might as well share the good this place can do…
the power of the typed word is unbelievable…
