I am fed up with living in West Virginia – myself and my husband need a brand new start and visiting VB in the past was wonderful and would love to live there. I do not believe I can afford to buy, but am interested in renting a nice 2 or 3 bedroom place not far from the beach. I am not particular about amenities, but would love to rent a half-way spacious place with hardwood floors, lots of windows, and a place which is comfortable and child friendly (I have a 10 year old) with good schools. I need help with this, as I know moving is a major decision. Finding a new job (I am a medical assistant) and my husband is a supervisor at a fiberglass plant, so he would need to find another position also. I desperately need help finding something before I do something drastic with the way things are going in WV! HELP me PLEASE!

and I don’t think I’ll be doing this anytime soon. I’m not giving up forever, just giving up on it for now.

I really want to move but it just seemed like nothing was going the way I was trying to plan it. The house I should have been moving in to fell through, I couldn’t find an apartment on my own, and then I drained my savings on a sick cat.
The new plan is to stick it out where I am now (but with a new roommate) until at least April so that I can save some money and figure things out.

She’s very excited about me coming down that way and possibly working for her. I really hope that this works out because I’m getting so close to actually moving and right now I don’t have anything yet. I emailed her my resume today so I’m just going to keep my fingers crossed that it works out ok for me.

A real live person for once! I got ahold of the AFE for my company, basically the person who helps the agents with staffing and things and he told me to send him my resume so he can review it and see if I would fit in any of the offices down there! I’m so excited, not that this promises me a job but it’s a big help. I also got a phone call from one place I had left a message and I’m going to call them back tomorrow.

So I have my name out there for a job, plus I talked to my friend quite a bit about finding a house soon. I know she’s working on it, and if that falls through several people need roommates in October.

and heading down to visit my friends. Hopefully I’ll be able to stay on Monday and check out some apartments and offices in the area. I really want to be ready to move in October.

I don’t want to, but I’m having a really hard time finding a job, and I just don’t want to move down there with no place to live and no job! If I could find one or the other it wouldn’t be so bad. I’ll be in the area in the next few weeks though, so I’m going to try and stop by some places and just put my resume out there and see who I can talk to. Hopefully I’ll get that Monday off work so I can spend some time around while places are actually open!

I’ve been searching online and found the best complex! It’s right in the area I want to live and the rent is soooo cheap compared to where I am living now. $550 per month for a one bedroom apartment. I hope I can get in to this place!!!

Yay! I love talking to people in the area who can point you in the right direction. I now have a fairly good idea of where I want to start looking for apartments, and another option for a job if my current choices don’t work out.
