One of my goals this year was to learn how to knit socks. I ended up loving it! Other goals include: knitting a sweater, learning how to cable, learning intarsia, lace, and how to correct dropped stitches. So far I’ve accomplished the socks, learned how to pick up dropped stitches and am in the process of knitting my hubby of 15 yrs my very first sweater! (Only 2 errors so far!) I’m hoping to get cabling under my belt by the end of the year. Go knitters!

Just watched this video (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=VNl8MMAr0lM) and learn to do the backwards-loop-cast-on method. I’ll have to try it next time I cast on something (other than the cure for SSS) ... only without the noodle.

Today I did something I never even thought I would do!

First, I taught someone to knit. Second, she’s a lefty! (psst! I’m not.)

Wow! I think I’ve done my quota for the month. ;) Think I can sit back and relax now, eh?
