Week 11: 2nd June - 8th June 13 months ago

I have kept up my weekly practice although I didn’t manage to keep it up daily. It was possibly a bit too ambitious to do it daily. Still, I’m pleased with my progress on this and I think I have formed a good habit which I can continue realistically.

I will mark this as complete :)



Week 10: 26th May - 1st June 13 months ago

I didn’t get so much daily practice done this week, but I did get a couple of practice sessions in so that’s not too bad.



Weeks 6-9: 28th April - 25th May 13 months ago

I’m pleased to say that I have managed to keep up my daily practice most days in the last month – I have missed the odd day but on the whole, I am pleased with my progress and think that this is slowly becoming habit :) One that I won’t break off soon, I hope! :) If I can do this for the next couple of weeks, then I will mark this goal as done :)



Week 5: 21st April - 27th April 14 months ago

This week went completely to hell with practice, thanks to my employer going bankrupt and me having to look for a new job. To be honest, practising tai chi would probably have made me feel better, as it makes me feel more positive and clear-headed. I’ll try to make up for this next week, and I’ll add an extra week to my 8 weeks, to make up for this lapse.



Week 4: 14th April - 20th April 14 months ago

Daily practice didn’t win out this week, but I did get one hour in at least, so not a complete loss.



Week 3: 7th April - 13th April 15 months ago

My best friend was visiting for the week so I didn’t get any practice in outside of the class, but I plan on getting straight back into it this week, starting tonight. My practice is actually stricter than the goal above – approx. 45 minutes daily except the day of the class, but I didn’t want to be too optimistic when I set it.

Getting back into daily practice after time off will test my commitment though, so we’ll see how I’ve got on by Sunday :)



Week 2: 31st March - 6th April 15 months ago

The daily practice is going well, which is good considering how busy this week has been with the geocaching in the evenings as well! :) This week, we’ve clocked about 6 and a half hours’ practice, so I’m really pleased with the progress on this goal :)



Week 1: 23rd March - 30th March 15 months ago

Earlier this week, my partner and I set up a daily practice routine and despite a couple of hiccoughs getting started, we have now managed to get into this.

So, outside of the class on Monday and the private lesson on Friday (both of which were the most amazing fun and truly valuable experiences), we have now done 1 hour 45 minutes practice :)

I can’t wait for class tomorrow :)



Start 15 months ago

My first week on this goal begins today (23rd March), so I’ll see how much time I’ve spent on practice outside of class next Sunday.
