swim in a swim meet.

I’ve become somewhat of a night owl, and swim practice at the Harris Y is from 6-7am on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I swear that is the biggest deterrent! :)

I like brest swimming is fun

with swimming. I was on the swim team for 6+ years when I was younger. Lots of swim meets. I got really burnt out though, 2 practices a day and that’s not including running, weight training, etc. I swim now but just for fun.

LOL!!! I forgot- my 1st swim meet ever (I was so little) I got disqualified for pulling on the lane ropes doing back stroke! It was too funny, I didn’t really know it was cheating, I just started bawling-

100m backstroke. :)

I was on the swim team growing up and it is a rush to swim in a meet! The muffled sound of cheer underwater and sudden roar of the crowd when you emerge!
